Well, I'm back from Miami and Orlando, only slightly less white, and with a significantly higher chance of skin cancer on my feet.

Mike and I were kickin' it at the Miami Heat/Boston Celtics game, only to run into Super Bowl XXXI MVP Desmond Howard. I had to thank him personally for bring a trophy back to my home state. We chatted for about 20 minutes. A real down to earth guy and a great person to chat with. This was the highlight of the trip, and it was only Thursday! Mike was pumped to have the chance to see ex-Wolves
Wally Szczerbiak and
Michael Olowokandi. Mike actually once gave the Candyman a ride home in Minneapolis, and was able to have a short conversation during a timeout.
You wouldn't believe the lifestyle down there. Crazy. One, how are people supposed to drink? A Coors Light was $6. Maybe the midwest spoils me, but affordable beer is nice. Saturday we went to a small club, and a gin and tonic and vodka and pineapple were $28. Now, I'm not exactly poor, but I sure would be if I lived there. Two, is a Ferrari or Bentley really a daily driver? We saw the same Bentley Continental GT every single day. Parallel parked on the side of the road. If you've got the means, go for it, I guess.
